Our Journey: Why We Created Happier Humans
In today’s world, people are doing everything they can to support their own emotional well-being and that of the people they love. Yet so many feel lost, overwhelmed, and under-resourced.
As psychologists, researchers, and educators, we’ve seen this struggle firsthand. Parents are navigating an endless stream of information online, unsure who or what to trust. Educators are being asked to support students’ mental health without the training or time to do it well. And adults, many of them caregivers and professionals, are quietly burning out, unsure how to care for themselves while carrying the weight of daily life.
We’ve had countless conversations around kitchen tables with fellow parents and with our colleagues about how hard it is to be resilient in a world that rarely slows down. We wanted to create something that didn’t just talk about mental wellness and resilience, but actually supported it in a way that was clear, practical, and rooted in real science.
After many brainstorming sessions fueled by lots of coffee (for Natalie) and Diet Coke (for Carly), and late-night meetings after our kids went to sleep, Happier Humans was born.
We started with one simple goal: to make emotional wellness feel accessible to real people with real lives.
No jargon. No judgment. Just practical, research-backed tools created by licensed psychologists, who are also working moms and understand the chaos, love, and exhaustion of everyday life.
Our work is grounded in both evidence and heart. We believe small, intentional steps can lead to powerful change, and that everyone deserves support they can trust.
We know the road to resilience isn’t linear. It takes community, clarity, and compassion. That’s why Happier Humans exists: to walk with you on the journey.
Whether you're a working professional navigating the demands of work, a busy parent trying to balance it all, an educator, or someone simply showing up for yourself, we’re so glad you’re here. This is just the beginning.
With warmth and gratitude,
